Our Favorite Spots in NYC
We’re finally starting to go out again, and it feels so good! With vaccines readily available and local businesses working to create safe spaces for their clientele, life is starting to feel closer to normal, and that’s certainly something to celebrate! Plus, these local businesses could definitely use a little extra support, and that’s something we care deeply about as a NYC-made brand.
Here are our absolute favorite spots to go out in NYC.
SERRA is beautifully decorated for every season, so it’s highly Instagrammable. The food is fantastic, and so is the ambiance. This is a great place for a date or to catch up with friends.
Want more of a party atmosphere? PHD Terrace at Dream Midtown is the place to go. Hit up their flower tunnel for the ‘gram, then order yourself some libations and the curry chicken empanadas. You will not be sorry!
UES is such a hidden gem! Literally, because it’s hidden. It’s an ice cream store in the front, and a speakeasy in the back. You’ll want to dress up in cocktail attire for this one (wear that Emily Jones bag!) as they do have a dress code. The specialty cocktails do not disappoint, and their presentation is so creative and fun!
Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge at Moxy Times Square
Head over to Times Square for a whimsical carnival atmosphere at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge. This place is great for dates or brunch with friends.Beatstro is a hip hop-inspired speakeasy and restaurant with amazing music (if you’re into hip hop, of course). This Black-owned business is a super fun night out with friends and has a great bottomless brunch.
Gallow Green at McKittrick Hotel is a relaxing oasis with an outdoor garden. This is one of our go-tos for brunch. It sometimes has live music, so be sure to check their calendar to plan your visit!
Soak in some beautiful views of the Hudson River at this one-of-a-kind floating bar, It’s great for a casual day outing, or even better, at sunset!
Vinateria is a Michelin Star winner, and it shows. The food is incredible! There is outdoor seating, including dining pods complete with heaters when it’s chilly. It is a female Black-owned business (like us!), so it scores some extra points with us. This is a great spot for a date night or dinner with friends.
If you know Restoration Hardware furniture, you already know what to expect. This rooftop is as classy as it gets with chandeliers and plush seating. It’s the perfect high-end spot for a fancy date night.
We hope you get out and enjoy the city this summer. We’ll see you around our favorite spots!
